In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are taking extreme measures to sterilize the classrooms and driving school vehicles.
Adult and Teen Update
We will be following all CDC Guidelines. All Vehicles will be sanitized and all drivers and instructors are required to wear masks while conducting driving lessons. As of August 20, 2021, all students and instructors must wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
If any of our instructors are in contact with any COVID-19 Positive Clients, we will have that instructor self-quarantined for 14 days. If your instructor reschedules for 14 days, please respect it as we are following all safety protocols to keep everyone safe and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Please note we are severely under staffed, so we are trying our best to accommodate all 7 days. Original instruction Permit is required for all driving lessons.
For Teenagers, anyone beginning their first driving lesson after June 11, 2021 are required by law to take Observation. If you want to waive observation, you will need to sign up for the 8 Hour Private Driving Course to obtain the Certificate of Completion.
Adult Road Test Update:
We are asking everyone to schedule a driving lesson before taking the test because there will be very limited road test practice allowed by the Illinois Secretary of State Police. Starting September 1, 2021, you must schedule your road exam online at https://www.ilsos.gov/departments/drivers/appointments/home.html. All Road Tests will meet up athr Illinois Secretary of State until further notice. We are short staffed due to the pandemic, so please bear with us if we do not have a slot open for a road test.
